Better yet, as both our homes are all-inclusive, you needn’t worry about any additional costs on top of our standard weekly fees.

The Huntington & Langham Estate has been providing compassionate, person-centric residential care for over 40 years and we have a great reputation in Surrey and further afield.

If you need a helping hand with daily tasks such as washing, dressing and other daily living activities, residential care could be ideal for you – and the Care Quality Commission rates our care as Good, so you can trust our expert team to take good care of you or a loved one. In our wonderful home, all our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, along with internet access and telephone and television points. There is a lovely welcoming feel to our home when you walk through the doors into the light, open lobby, and from here, you’ll find our comfortable, luxurious lounges and conservatory where residents are encouraged to spend time with each other and with visiting friends and relatives.

There’s also a bar and café in the home, along with a hair salon, chiropodist, residents’ kitchenette, and a lovely dining room where residents enjoy freshly-cooked meals from our onsite kitchen. Residents also benefit from beautiful gardens, a daily newspaper and regular trips and activities that are tailored to meet people’s residential care needs and capabilities. To give you an idea, activities include gardening, baking, pet therapy, light exercise and crafts, with our programme varying from week to week.

Whenever you would like to come and visit your loved one, that’s no trouble at all, as we have plenty of free parking for visitors and we have an unlimited supply of tea and biscuits.

The nursing care we offer here at the Huntington & Langham Estate is tailored to each individual and we work with you and your family to make sure the care you receive is perfect for you – if you’re looking for high-quality care in stunning surroundings, our fantastic team of nurses is here to help. Our qualified nurses are available 24 hours a day, here to take care of those who need intensive rehabilitation, people who need PEG feeding, those with long-term conditions or with physical disabilities.

Holistic care and compassion have always been at the heart of Huntington House since we first opened our doors in 1978, and this outlook is essential to the health and happiness of our residents. We ensure that every single resident is treated with respect and is encouraged to maintain their independence where possible, two of the many reasons why we have a fantastic 9.7/10 rating on carehome.co.uk, along with a Good rating by the Care Quality Commission!

When you walk into the home, you’re greeted by a lovely welcoming feel in the lobby, and from here, you can easily reach our relaxing, well-appointed lounges and conservatory where residents enjoy socialising with each other and spending time with visiting friends and relatives. Our en-suite bedrooms are light and spacious, and offer internet access and telephone and television points.

In the home, we also have a bar and café, a hair salon, chiropodist, residents’ kitchenette, and a tastefully-decorated dining room, where residents sit down to enjoy our chef’s delicious, freshly-cooked meals. Additionally, we are surrounded by beautiful gardens, and residents can choose to receive a daily newspaper. If your loved one has been diagnosed with dementia and it’s no longer safe for them to continue living at home as their symptoms progress, let our family look after yours, as our expert care team is here to help. We’re an award-winning*, specialist home for dementia care with an ‘Outstanding’ rating, which is awarded to less than 1% of care homes in the country. With family values at the heart of what we do, we work hard to preserve our residents’ dignity, treat every resident with respect and promote independence wherever possible.

The Btterfly ApproachOur care is based on the Butterfly Household Approach, which has been proven to make a real difference to the quality of residents’ lives. It’s all about being person-centred, helping our residents to carry on living life how they want to and really feel alive again – and as our service was rated as ‘Outstanding’ in our latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission, we believe this really illustrates how high the quality of care available here really is. In fact, ‘Dementia Care Matters’ who developed the Butterfly Household Approach described our corridors as “Wonderfully developed and stimulating” in our CQC report.

We have 28 en-suite bedrooms dedicated to taking care of those affected by dementia, and with nurses and carers in the home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, always willing to go the extra mile, your loved one will never be far away from the care that they need – better yet, they get to live in a state-of-the-art environment that has been designed with dementia in mind.

Many of the bedrooms for our residents affected by dementia have their own picket-fence garden, and all benefit from floor-to-ceiling windows to provide them with fantastic views of the Estate. Outside each resident’s door, there’s a personalised memory box to aid memory and stimulate discussion, which we like to see as individual celebrations of people’s lives. There is also an onsite hairdressing salon, communal lounges, a dining room where residents can enjoy home-cooked meals, an activities room and lovely gardens overlooking the horse fields, so there’s always something to do and see here.

We understand how important it is for you to have the peace of mind that your loved one is safe and well-cared-for while you take some time out. That’s why we offer respite and day care of the highest standard, so you can trust us to offer expert care while you enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

Respite Care: Our family-run home offers respite care that’s second-to-none and is available from one to four weeks at a time. We create a tailored care plan before your stay so that you and your loved one can relax, knowing we’re providing specialist support in a comfortable home from home.

Residents here for respite are welcomed into the family and are encouraged to make the most of all that we have to offer, including an exciting activities programme, freshly-cooked meals and beautiful gardens, along with high-quality care from our fantastic team.

Day Care: Twice a week, we open our doors for day care! Our warm and welcoming day centre in Langham Court offers a safe and stimulating day alongside specially-trained staff. It’s a great way for you to meet people who are on the same journey as you, providing an opportunity to make new friends, share experiences and feel supported.

Sessions run from 10:30am until 3:30pm, costing just £55 per day, and include a wide variety of activities. Our chefs use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to provide a three-course meal, refreshments and homemade cakes. We encourage all day care guests to be as independent as possible by getting involved, and our wonderful team is here to support people emotionally as well as physically.
