Dementia Care

Family-Oriented Dementia Care

If your loved one has been diagnosed with dementia, and their progressing symptoms mean it’s no longer safe for them to continue living at home, we are here to help you. Langham Court is an award-winning*, specialist home for dementia care with a 'Good’ rating, which is awarded to less than 1% of care homes in the country. With family values at the heart of what we do, we work hard to preserve our residents’ dignity, treat every resident with respect and promote independence wherever possible.

Purpose-Built Dementia Care Home

Langham Court is our specialist dementia care home at the Huntington & Langham Estate. Surrounded by beautiful Surrey countryside, the home has been purpose-built to provide the most stimulating and safe environment - both indoors and outdoors.

With our new extension completed in April 2021, Langham Court now provides 40 en-suite purpose-built bedrooms. Our high staff to resident ratio means our dedicated and specially trained nurses and carers are able to give the time and dedication to make every day a meaningful day for every single person living at Langham Court. Living at Langham Court is to live in a state-of-the-art environment that has been designed with dementia in mind and offers something truly special.

Many of the bedrooms for our residents living with dementia have their own picket-fence garden, and all benefit from floor-to-ceiling windows to provide them with fantastic views of the estate. With six reception rooms, a day centre and specialist dining amenities, there is plenty to enjoy within our beautiful home. Outside each resident’s door, there’s a personalised memory box to aid memory and stimulate discussion; we like to see this as individual celebrations of the lives we support. There's also an on-site hairdressing salon, communal lounges, a dining room where residents can enjoy home-cooked meals, an activities room and lovely gardens overlooking the horse fields, so there’s always something to do and see here.

The new extension provides an outdoor patio area with breath-taking views across the estate, and wheelchair accessible paths connects you with the wonderful outdoors, where you can enjoy the horses, ponies, sheep, pond life and the stimulating wildlife – all safely on the grounds.

We would love to invite you to visit our beautiful and loving care home. Please contact us via the web form or give us a call on 01428 606143 – one of our friendly team members will be happy to help you.

"I would recommend Langham Court unreservedly. I think it's an incredibly beautiful, professional and loving place to have your family member be looked after."
