Not ready to move yet?

We know that moving from home into a care home can be a difficult decision and sometimes a permanent move isn’t the answer. We are here to support you if you or your loved one needs a short-term break. Whether you are recovering from an operation, injury or medical condition or are a carer and need somewhere safe for your loved one to go - find out about respite care on the Huntington & Langham Estate. From two weeks to six months, we can take care of complex medical needs with nurses available 24/7, we offer fresh home cooked meals made with local produce and you can relax in beautiful surroundings for as long as you need.

Respite care can be rejuvenating and also give you a flavour of what living on the estate would be like. There’s no commitment to stay but we find many of our residents return and when the time comes and it’s right for them, they know they can always call the Huntington & Langham Estate home.

Respite done differently

Our nurses and carers can create a tailored respite plan with local transport if needs be so that you and your loved one can relax and let us take care of everything during that time.

And whether a resident is with us for two weeks or twenty years we will ensure that getting to know someone is our top priority so we can provide truly person – centred care.

“My husband has complex needs and has regular respite breaks at Huntington House. The care is excellent, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and he always seems happy to go. Their care reassures me that I can leave him without worrying about his welfare, knowing they would contact me if there was a problem”

If you would like to find out more about respite, then don’t hesitate to give us a call or book a visit.
